A Chartered Accountant by qualification, roles such as President of Smedley Speakers’ Society and Charter Member of All Women and Entrepreuner Club at Toastmasters International are a few of the roles I have accepted. In addition to the various leadership roles, I have been a Trainer and Mentor for students. I have put my best foot forward and tried to do justice to every opportunity that has come my way and have lived up to the trust reposed in me.
I have been associated with Toastmasters International, Institute of Chartered Accountants India over the past years of my professional life and these organizations continue to be an integral part of my life.
Being a Chartered Accountant by Qualification , we all know Chartered accountants (CAs) are professionals who have met rigorous standards of education, experience, and ethical practice. The Course journeys us in building strong qualities of chartered accountants like technical expertise , Analytical skills , integrity standards , Confidentiality , Professionalism, Communication Skills, Conitnuous Learning, Adaptability , Leadership and Teamwork and Critical thinking.
Amidst my Career Aspirations starting from Bachelor in Commerce to Master in Commerce and Chartered Accountant , My passion for public speaking Stayed Strong and might stem from the excitement of communication, the joy of connecting with others, the personal growth it fosters, and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact. It combines creativity, challenge, and the ability to influence and inspire, making it a deeply fulfilling activity.
Ask me Why I Like Public Speaking , I have Thousands of reasons but to point a few there’s this Thrill of Sharing Ideas – I love the moment when I get to share my thoughts and ideas with an audience. There’s something incredibly satisfying about taking a concept I’m passionate about and presenting it in a way that others can understand and appreciate.
Connecting with Others Public speaking allows me to connect with people on a deeper level. Whether it’s through a story, an insight, or just a shared experience, I enjoy the feeling of reaching out and engaging with my audience. Seeing their reactions and knowing I’ve made a difference, even a small one, is a great feeling.
Boosting My Confidence Every time I step up to speak, I face a mix of excitement and nerves. Over time, public speaking has helped me build my confidence. Each successful presentation reassures me that I can handle challenges and communicate effectively, which spills over into other areas of my life.
Sharing What I’ve Learned I get a lot of joy from sharing the knowledge and experiences I’ve accumulated. It’s rewarding to see others learn from what I’ve shared and maybe even use it to make positive changes in their own lives.
Creative Expression Crafting a speech or presentation feels like a creative project to me. I enjoy experimenting with different ways to present my ideas, using stories, humor, and visuals to make my message more engaging. It’s a fun way to express myself and keep things interesting.
Leading and Inspiring I appreciate the opportunity to take the lead and inspire others through my words. Whether it’s motivating a team, sharing a vision, or encouraging someone to take action, there’s a strong sense of purpose in knowing my words can make an impact.
In a nutshell – It’s a rewarding experience that helps me grow personally and professionally while making a positive impact on those who listen.
